Flickering images?!

Hi guys,

Downloaded and installed the newest expansion pack yesterday.
All looked great, I was very happy. Still am. There's just one slight problem...

For some reason my computer/game thinks it's okay to put up flickering images for an object (the white/black kind of things), to erase my sim in 'Build a family' so only the eyes are visible.. And freeze all together at some point in the game, causing me to shut down my computer because it simply stops working.. 

Does anybody have an idea what is causing this? Had no problems before installing the expansion. Although I did have these same problems with previous expansions but they would disappear after playing the game a couple of times.. 

Just wondering what might be causing this. Have patched it to the latest version.

Any mods? Any custom content or saved games/items you want to keep?

None of the above..

Then delete the folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
Then restart your game.
