My vamps won't autonomous feed? [SOLVED] Empty My vamps won't autonomous feed? [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Wed 26 Jun 2013, 00:31

I made one of my Sims a vampire by using the cheat and putting him in CAS so that I didn't have to bother finding a vampire (he was married into my family and I wanted him to turn him and his wife), however he won't drink plasma juice autonomously. He keeps trying to eat ice cream and salad and stuff even when he's almost starving to death. He then turned his wife, who is now doing the same thing!

I have Overwatch, Master Controller and Careers as mods and the (updated) crack for my three torrented expansions.  I recently did a fresh install after the new patch came out and it never did that before. I also have a no-pixels thing on the Sims that I just recently installed and it is updated for patch 1.55, along with my other core mods.

I know that I could just manually get them to drink, but it gets irritating and I don't like having to do it all the time. I thought it was because I turned him using CAS but then when his wife was having the same problem I got suspicious.

Hello,

You could try a new savegame, and then you either let your sim get bitten by a vampire or you use the "vampire potion" (for that you need the Supernatural expansion + the alchemy skill + the alchemists's table).

But you can also download and install the version of the NRAAS Master Controller mod (the version that is compatible with your base game patch-level). Search for an option to "reset sim". After that a prompt should come up asking you if "you want your sim to be transferred to a safe place in the homeworld" (or something with a similar wording). Click yes and your sim should be standing near the front door of your house. Then see if they autonomously drink the plasma juice.

But generally, you should NOT change the "Supernatural life-state" in CAS. Believe me, I have some bad experiences with that. Laughing

Thanks Smile I actually took off the no-mosaic mod that I downloaded and it turns out that it was just conflicting with something else. Everything is fixed now.
