Are you using any mods or cc? Specifically anything that may affect jobs or career outfits?

I had this problem a little while ago.

If you personalized your work outfit, you'll either have to delete the work outfit you made, or change into the default work outfit manually, then go to work as you normally would.

Apparently it's a problem loading the custom work outfit, and it just resets your sim when it tries instead of sending the sim to work.
