Can't patch update

This is the message that I receive when I try to manually patch the v1.55 update onto the Sims. The automatic update from the installer doesn't work as well. I've followed all the instructions from the download guide and I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but this continues to happen.
Could anyone help me out on this please?
