Unable to get food from foodstands, never get the new IP moodlets Empty Unable to get food from foodstands, never get the new IP moodlets

Whenever I attend festivals, I ask for food but the chart never opens. I also never received any Island Paradise moodlets like bugbites or seasickness. I've updated all of the mods I can think of. Especially the Store Fixes (KT's). I'm pretty sure something's not updated but I don't know what it is..

Hello,

In the past there was a similar bug when shopping at the supermarket; when you had any seeds in your inventory, then no chart will show up. So you might try to completely empty your inventory, and see if that helps. Also go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete the unnecessary cache:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

You might even try to create a new savegame for now (of course, don't delete your old savegame) and test it with new sims. See if you still have that problem.

Smh I still have the problem. I'm sure it's one of my mods and I've deleted and updated different ones and still no luck it's so frustrating..

Also when I go to resorts, they are empty nobody there to check me in

The most radical solution, to rule out any problems with corrupt savefiles, incompatible mods/custom content is this here:

Go to My Documents/Electronic Arts and rename the folder "The Sims 3" in any way you like (example: "The Sims 3_backup"). Now start a completely fresh savegame and play on for a while.


P.S. If you actually have a house in Isla Paradiso, then I would NOT check into a resort, because my game freezes after trying to do that.  Laughing  I'm not sure if the same happens, if you have a house in another town, and then just travel to Isla Paradiso.

But of course, feel free to test that. Wink
