Island Paradise ; Not Responding*

My sims 3 game was working fine until Island Paradise.
After 3 to 5 minutes, my game randomly freeze and I get ; The Sims 3 has Stopped Working
So, I took off all of my mods, downloads and whatever.
Put down the graphics,  I even did the Dep .
I deleted the Sims 3 folder in my documents, and it is still not working, I also did the ultimate fix from you guys, yet again, I still get that annoying crash.

I know that I'm not the only one that is having this problem and for some reason, no one solved it.
I was hopping someone on here could actually help all of us.

I had the same problem as you.
I also tried to took off all my mods etc. But it won't work.
Because the error it's in the documents folder already exists, so if you remove the mod, there is always something **** that stays there to up your game.

My games works properly now.

By doing this;

Rename the Sims 3 folder in your documents folder to 'Old.'
Restart your game, and the sims launcher will make a new folder for you,
WITHOUT mods, and WITHOUT all the crap that crashes your game.

I hope it works for you too!

I did that , but it still crashes so, what I do is I save every 5 minutes or so , and It doesnt crash. weirdly enough. But thank you it's appreciated

No i can't. Read: I don't know if i can.
Because i'm now playing with the new-empty-mods-and-downloads-free folder in EA/DOCUMENTS.

I think you can play with mods, but then your mods or downloads should be updated with update 1.55 by their creators, because your game is also 1.55.


But where to find CC and Mods that DOESN'T crash your game, i don't know.
I think it's only safe to download from the SIMS store, because even when i download from the sims exchange, my game crashes.
Also the downloads from G4TW here, are safe i think.


I don't know, i also need a pro to explain that to me..

Ahaha, well. I haven't got any mods that crashed my game though
My mods or download are usually from the sims resource.
I'll just wait before putting any mods in. I don't want to  take the risk. D: and, yeah I tried finding mods that are up dated , but I can't find where it's supposed to be written !! Lol, I just feel like taking island paradise off anyways, until they do an other patch or something
