My Sims 3 won't start

I installed my Sims 3 a while ago and then installed Sims 3 Ambitions. I went to start it up and it said 'Error during startup. See Log for details.' I have watched the youtube video on how to get rid of that problem but it still didn't work because i had no other sims 3 packs that were not installed. Help??

Hello,
You seem to post in the wrong section. But anyway, your problem can be solved by installing at least one of the expansions mentioned there and follow all the instructions on that page.
