Custom Content TS3 Empty Custom Content TS3

Hey, I've been searching ALL over for a solution to my problem but all """"solutions""""" seem to be indirect or simply not helpful at all.

I downloaded all of my expansion/stuff packs from here except for my sims 3 base game. I was able to download custom content for the
sims 3 exchange (using the without-registration method; sims3pack) until I downloaded showtime it just started saying "Installation failed: Please make sure your game has the latest Software Updates and try again.
Done!" Okay um yeah thing is I have my game downloaded to the latest version and the latest store patch(so it says). It's only when I download from the Sims 3 exchange, I'm able to download from The Sims Resource fine. I deleted all the custom content I had before which I regret now because it didn't help at all.. Anyone knows how I can fix this? I'm not too fond of the other download sites as far as pre-made Sims other than the exchange.

All well.. thanks anyways. I'm on Windows 8 & my computer says it already has all 3 of the applications listed installed. Guessing they just came built in with my laptop..When I try to open the decrapify app nothing comes up, nor does the CC magic. And I can't read the installation guide as I do not use Microsoft word, doc, etc. The thing with Windows 8 with is being sorta new is not many solutions to problems are found or working.
