sims 3 crash problem. [SOLVED]

my game will crash after about 30-60 minutes gameplay even when all mods/cc/store is gone in a clean install. This problem occurs regardless of how many expansion packs and stuff packs are installed. this even occurred with just the base game installed with no cc/mods/store, my computer is definitely strong enough it has a i7 core, 2gb NVidia GeForce GT 540m graphics, 8gb ram and its a Toshiba qosmio F750.

thankyou for you help but I already have the latest version of the ultimate fix installed properly and I prefer to update via the cumulative super patcher online. I don't mean to sound pushy but is there any other way than the solution you provided. I would also like to mention that when I say crash I mean the screen goes black and a message pops up saying "the sims 3 has stopped working windows is collecting more information about the problem windows will notify you if a solution is available". Then it gives me to options close program or wait for program to respond. I hope I've helped clarify what my problem is

Yes. Usually, that means the Ultimate Fix is not applied properly, that's why I advised you to use my tool, which will move the files to the correct location for you...

I didn't realise what the tools was for:oops:  I will download that tool and test my game. i'm not completely sure but I think i used to get this problem before I downloaded any games from games for the world and started using the fix. also what exactly is a TeamVeiwer meeting ?

There is a software called Team Viewer which would enable me to take control of your pc for a time (the time of the session) and help you out with your problems...

i'm just letting you know I used the tool you suggested and everything went well so i now have to test my game and see if the problem occurs again.

I played the game for just over an hour and no crash  so I still need to test it further so i'll let you know in a few days how it went. thanks for your help and interest
