Sims 3 freezes after travelling?

Well I know this sounds stupid but does it have anything to do with the installation? I mean do I have to install the EPs in order? Because yesterday I tested my game when I only had base game and WA. I played Holy Alto and had her to travel to China. Holy had visited China 3 times and I didn't have any problem, the game ran smoothly.

After seeing that, I tried to add more EPs and SPs. But this time I can't play too long because my game freezes like every 5 secs. The plumbob is still spinning and ambients are working but the others just freeze. This happened few days after my sim visited China, while he was at the park. He was participating in the eating contest when the it started to freeze. I had my sim to visit another lot but it was worse.

The last 2 EPs I installed were Pets and the last one is Island Paradise if that helps, because I saw many people complaining the same thing after installing Pets on sims3forum. I don't have any CC or mods except the framework, the "nointro.package" & "NoBuildSparkles.package".

I'll try it thank you   my laptop has specs above the minimum requirement.
may I ask? Have you ever encountered this?
