Can not install Custom Content?

I uninstalled my game because of some problems. I chose "no" when the uninstaller said if I wanted to remove the CC and things like that.
I reinstalled my game. But then none of the CC appeared. So I tried to double click on the CC download, nothing happened. Then I copied my CC to documents/Electronic arts/Sims 3/Downloads but it was still the same. After I launched the Sims 3 launcher and clicked on the "Downloads" section, nothing's there.

You need to re install the CC.

The problem is I can't install my CC, it won't open even I've double clicked on it. I've tried to move my CC to the Download folder in Documents but it's still the same.

Delete the ''The Sims 3'' folder from ''Electronic Arts'' folder in Documents, then install the CC again.

If it don't work then try using CC as .package file. In this case you need to setup Mods folder to use them. Download this then extract it you will see ''Mods'' folder, put it in The Sims 3 folder in Electronic Arts in Documents.

Covert CC from .sims3pack to .package by using this. (Don't forget to check ''Rename files on Save'') After covering them to package put them in ''Package'' folder in the ''Mods'' folder.

If this problem exists under the circumstance of having only sims3packs installed previously (this happens to me too Sad

), simply drag them to C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads. Run the launcher, and in the "Downloads" tab, check all of the boxes and click "Install".

Try to add the game to the DEP.

Also, make sure that after every crash, you go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and look inside the folder "Currentgame.sims3". If there are any contents in it, then delete everything. If not, then let it be. Wink
