Cannot install custom content

Hello. I have downloaded all of the Sims 3 SPs and EPs, updated to the latest patch and cracked with the ultimate fix. The game works fine. I actually had a lot of custom content using The Sims launcher downloader/installer. But I decided I didn't want all that crap, so I used Delphy's tool in combination with CC magic to find the items I wanted to keep. (very few). I have all the .package files in documents/ea/sims3/mods/packages, but when I start Sims 3, the extra worlds (Hidden Springs and Lucky Palms) don't show up. Do I need to install them like I would with normal store bought content? (I got the store items from g4tw's mediafire acc)

Worlds need to be installed with the launcher, as sims3packs.
