I can't install Island Paradise Empty I can't install Island Paradise

When I start up the installation process for Island Paradise I get to the screen that says it's going to run the update for this expansion. When I press next, it says problem updating. What do I do?Noob The Sims 3 plumbob

Hello,
You need to run the updater in Support>Updates located in your setup folder before you install Island Paradise.
