Store updates & Crack installation

I purchased the base game with the ambitions expansion.....i just downloaded Night Life World Adventures & Fast Lane Stuff...per the installation instructions it tells me to install the cracks for the base game and ambitions but Im not sure if i need to do that since I have the actual disc....

Also if i wanted to download the store updates do i need to download each update individually or can I just upload the latest one and it include all the previous updates....

sorry if my questions seem stupid but I never downloaded games before so this is kinda new to me:help:

one more thing....im trying to install world adventures and when i follow the instructions to install the various patches in the crack 3 folder i get an error message and when i try to install it tells me that the sims 3 needs to be updated but when i click update it says error and it cant be updated then closes im not sure what im doing wrong

The most important thing first: so if you already have all these expansions installed, then I suggest you do the steps from 2 to 4 from here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

As for the so-called "store updates"; normally, this is the word for the monthly released "store items" from EA. These items can include anything you can choose/buy in the game like hairstyles, furniture, clothing, etc.

You can either download the stuff separately: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/

Or you can go to http://www.games4theworld.org/downloads.html and look for "Store updates 1-26", but remember this only includes the items from 2009 until July 2011.

Also, the site http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/ is still "under construction" - not all items have been uploaded yet, and the site is not being worked at currently (due to the absence of the Admin).

thank you for your help...i finally got world adventures to install i had to change the sku to 7 and then update my base game before i could install WA so hopefully once I finish installing the rest of the expansions it will work fine...keeping my fingers crossed.....i will also check out the link for the store updates thank you again....i have been wanting to try downloading the expansion packs for a while and everytime i tried they just didnt work....so thank you again....i am optimistic that I can finally play sims 3 the way i want to with no problems now thanks to games4theworld you guys are awesome!!!! Hammertime
