The Sims 3: University Life - Not installing

Hi, When I extracted all the info from the .rar file the installer fails to boot up. The lower bar reacts as though a program is opening but instantly closes down and does not start the installation.

I turned the folder contents into an .iso and made a disk which is also causing the same problems. Can anyone offer a solution as to why the installer doesn't seem to want to load?

Sims 3 on mac is so problematic because Sims 3 is not integegrated with Mac. If you solve this problem another one will occur so I suggest you bootcamp to windows (link). Hope you solve your problem.

You should use StuffIt Expander to unrar files. Otherwise the installer won't open.
