The sims 3 ultimate fix problem

Hi, I downloaded the sims 3 ultimate fix because after i installed Ambitions my game wont update but i still cant try out the fix because once i downloaded the fix, i tried to open the instructions so that i would know how to install the fix but the instructions doesnt show me the steps, it just shows alot of different letters, symbols and numbers so im unable to understand what the instructions are saying. Can someone please give me the steps to the fix so that i can update my game to the latest update.

Please open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now, start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!

Ps. .txt files should be opened using something like "WordPad"!

The installation guide is in PDF format instead of .txt then when i rename it to .txt and open it, it still just shows alot of symbols and numbers. Can you just tell me the instructions to the sims 3 fix in this post or email them to my email at

Hello, to read the .pdf file you need to download and install this file : Adobe Reader

1) Click download
2) And install. Just next next until finish Then you can open and read the .pdf guide
