The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition

So is there no way to update this version, i'm having the same problem, with the DLL files and the base game not working after the manual patch is used.

Hello,

I suggest you initiate a clean reinstallation by Your Uninstaller Pro (which can be downloaded in www.games4theworld.org) with Super mode and follow the following steps:

(1) Downlad the base game and the expansions you want from www.games4theworld.org. Preferably one of the following: Island Paradise, University Life, 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations

(2) Install the base game with Daemon Tools Lite. (Please extract all the torrents with WinRAR only)

(3) Apply the manual patch here.

(4) Install the expansions.

(5) Download the Ultimate Fix here.

(6) Drag and drop the content of the #crack folder of the Ultimate Fix (you only need this folder only) to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Will do, could take a while on these rural 100KB/s speeds.

I think I may give it a miss and keep playing on the un-updated version, considering it would be ~40GB of downloads
