sims help! [SOLVED]

hello i have downloaded the sims 3 generations... but when i install it and place the cracks where there suppose to be.. i try to start the game and it says that i need the cd to play the game... i dont know what i`m doing wrong i have all the extasions and the base game installed with a cd.. what can i do so i can play generations?

You are placing the crack in the wrong folder you should be placing it into "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\De Sims 3\Game\Bin" not "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\De Sims 3 Levensweg\Game\Bin". Essentially the generations crack applies to the base game, not the expansion.
