Missing items?

Hello Administrators, Moderators and fellow Helpers,
I recently downloaded The Sims 3: Movie Stuff and after further investigation, I noticed something abnormal:
(At least, I am not sure) 2 items are missing in Buy Mode, and I have confirmed by checking www.origin.com and found that they are not Origin Exclusive limited content. So, basically, I am asking whether the files provided by Tarac are trustworthy (no offence).
Correction: Super Ray is found.

Thanks for bringing this up. Like I said elsewhere, after all these people from the other forum (Tarac, Bz, I.Am.Amazing) popped up and basically started making trouble, I found it HIGHLY suspicious that "Tarac provided the Admin with the game files".
I was even curious whether I should install it - but I gave it a try.
Admin ?

According to this here there are supposed to be 38 new build/buy-mode items. I actually went to Buy-mode and looked at the category "collections" - and because there was no "Movie stuff" logo, I assumed that something was missing.
So I looked under "sort by function" and filtered the items by "Movie stuff" - and then a few items showed up. I still have to look whether something is missing, but on the other hand, I'm not sure how much effort is involved in actually removing in-game items from a download, but maybe it just would be too much effort actually. Which means it might be unlikely that Tarac and the others go through that hassle. So for now, I assume that everything is fine.

The files he provided were the original files. And if a few files were removed or something, you'd get an error.

As is typical of EA the files are there but probably in the wrong area. I haven't installed it yet but will this eveing and see if I can find the missing items. The biggest reason for my wanting this SP is that there are supposed to be enhancements for making sims movies, but it may be that I uninstall this one very quickly if it doesnt offer anything I must have.

I've read somewhere -I can't remember where..- that the list of stage props and other new stuff from the Movie Stuff Pack aren't categorized properly. And I wasn't suprised at all...
Also I've just seen the review of the new stuff pack and I decided that it isn't necessary to have hundreds of strange costumes except few good ones. It'd only make my CAS more laggy and I don't need that at all.

Personally, I truly doubt that someone would want to remove some files anyway. But then again, it is always good to be alert.
I wonder if I will still be gaming at the age of 60...

Well I have filtered the content with the icon of Movie Stuff, and sort every section/category in "Sort by function". Yet I still can't find these missing items *sigh*. By the way, congratulations on your promotion, dieneryn!

It may be a bit off-topic, but I believe I have found the photo of Tarac. As illustrated by Admin, he is really at his age of **. Well, his website is hacked and it's in maintenance. Wonder if it's a false claim or not, but he claimed that his forum has more than 22000 members. Hmm...

I would be surprised if I wouldn't still be gaming at that age to be honest. If I can use my hands and my eyes, I'll be gaming lol. I'm almost 34 and I can't imagine coming of an age that I'd feel too old to play.dieneryn wrote:

I know I'll still be gaming at 60, and at 70,80,90 100. Heck I plan to have a gaming console buried with me so I can play in the after life.
