No Disc Error

I am having the same issue! A couple nights ago my sims was working fine and then stupidly, I updated my game (to 1.57) and now I can't play. I can open the game through the application file under ProgramFiles (x86) but then when I get to the in-game main menu it say I need to insert the Island Paradise disc. I have downloaded all of my expansions from Games4theworld and have had no trouble until now. What do I do?

Hello,
Please follow the following instructions (don't miss any steps even though you think you have done this):
(1) Download and apply the manual patch here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch
(2) Download the latest Ultimate Fix here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
(3) Drag and drop the content of the folder #crack to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Replace the existing files.
