Unable to extract The Sims 3 Fix [SOLVED]

Hello,
I've been trying to get the game work properly and I came across this site. I am trying to install the game as reccomended here, I downloaded the .rar file of the fix (latest one posted) but as I try to extract it, it cannot extract the file for the Áll expansion packs after and including Generations'. It gives me an error. I tried both Winrar and UniExtract but they just skip the file. Is it a problem on my end? How can fix it? I've been struggling with the game for a whole day now T_T

Sounds like the file was corrupted during download. Try redownloading the ultimate Fix and extracting with WinRAR.

Oh, wow, it worked now! 
Truth is I had it downloaded a second time but maybe the connection was bad at the time and interfered with the downloading!
