New User confusion- Midnight Hollow. [SOLVED]

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help, new to this site from 2 days ago, I have installed expansion packs and stuff packs through this site by following the instructions and everything works fine, thanks for that...BUT...when I wanted to add the downloadable neighborhoods (ex: midnight hollow....got from the mirror link) I used winrar to extract it and it only gave me one single file.....which got me really confused because I don't know how to install it....it doesn't have the files I need to go through the regular procedures for installation....can someone please help or guide me? This site has already been so helpful, thanks everyone!!!! :-) you guys and gals rock!!!

It is normal that these neighborhood downloads (and most of the so-called "store items") only consist of one file, in your case that would be the "MidnightHollow.sims3pack".
You have to copy or move this file into the following location: My documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads. Now open the launcher and go to the "Downloads" tab; your "Midnight Hollow" world should show up. Mark the item (click on the small white square next to it), and at the bottom of the launcher click on the "install" button.
And that should do.
