Town won't load

Hello so my first problem was solved but then I run into another problem. I guess this is what happens when you play a game released by an actual company wrapped in a wineskin. Anyway So I have the first base retina 15" MBP running Mavericks so I'm very sure I can run this game lol. For some reason whenever I go to start a new game and wait for the town to load it just never loads. I've waited a few minutes but it'll just stay there. I have nothing installed by way of custom content or anything like that. I've never played the game as I've never made it to the town. Lowered my gfx settings deleted the folder in Documents. Followed the ultimate fix to a tee even with the order on installing the expansions and this game just wont start. Thanks if you can help me out and if not well I guess this'll save me a headache in the long run. Now wonder I stopped buying EA

Well, I'm hoping that Mavericks isn't the problem.  It is not likely anyway since you have successfully installed your game.

Have you tried loading other towns? Do they all stop loading?

Ive tried loading bridgeport, the island town, and the one town the monks built 300 years ago don't really remember the name. I've decided to be patient and wait, a black screen shows up with a dialog window in the middle with nothing in it

This is a long shot, but do give it a try!

Navigate to: Finder>Documents
Delete the folder "Electronic Arts".

Try loading your game again!

Sadly it didn't work. I finally got my town to load but the graphics were all messed up so I just removed the game. Thanks though

I'm sorry to hear that! Since you have removed the game, I recommend that you visit this page and fully remove the game from your mac. (One of the methods should work for Mavericks.)

That is to ensure that you will not face problems if you intend to install again.

In any case, IF you intend to install again, do make sure the following:
1) Fully and cleanly uninstall the game.
2) Re-install the game.

If you have the time, you might want to try that out. According to your previous topic, you seemed to have done a few re-installs which causes loading problems and crashes if the previous game was not cleanly uninstalled.
