Launcher Problems I may have Installed Incorrectly

When I start the launcher it works just fine. The problem is that when I press play it loads until a "unresponsive" error pops up.I hadn't played the game on this new computer before so I don't know if it may have been the computer itself. This is a computer that can handle games much better than Sims 3. (Graphic Wise and Speed.). I bought the base game and 2 other expansion packs then downloaded 3 torrented expansion packs or cracked. I got them from this website (Clarification). I downloaded them just as said in the rar file. Please post back so I can fix this. I eagerly wait for your reply .

I put the cracked .dll and the .exe before I updated. But I skipped the update step since I was already on version 1.57. So would that have screwed things up?
