Re: Lagging in game. [SOLVED]
Does this happen to this old save? Can you create a new save to see if there are any differences?

Creating a new save won't lose your old saves.

Re: Lagging in game. [SOLVED]
Please rename the folder C:\Users\(your username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 to anything you like and run the launcher. Then, go to the renamed folder and move the folder Saves to the new generated folder "The Sims 3".
Now create a new save to see if there are any differences.
As for the save that cannot be loaded, I suggest check the folder Saves and see if there are any folders with extension ".sims3.bad". If yes, please remove the folders.
If this doesn't save your old save, please read this guide and check out method 5 and 6 from the guide. You can try renaming the backup folder associating with your current save from (the name of your save).sims3.backup to (the name of your save).sims3. Make sure to delete the folder with the name (the name of your save).sims3 beforehand.

Re: Lagging in game. [SOLVED]
already rename the folder.. and move the "save" folder to the new "the sims 3" folder.. may i delete the entire rename folder?
for end with ".bad", only my old save have the bad file, while my current save game have no bad.. and it still wont load..

You can either the folder, but be sure you have backed up the folder "Saves". And I am sorry to tell you that if this problem persists (loading problem), the save is possibly corrupted and there are no solutions for this except the ones I have mentioned.

Re: Lagging in game. [SOLVED]
Corruption can be of various causes, and the most common ones are Mods, Custom Content or corrupted caches. Sometimes the reason why the save is unknown (some of our users have corrupted saves and they don't have any CC or Mods), the only one to blame is EA.oiezs wrote:hi..

Is your lagging problem solved?

Re: Lagging in game. [SOLVED]
hi..
i just opened my old save game.. then i play for 10 minutes just to check.. look like the lag is over.. and i hope it wont happen again.. haha.. and i also worried if my new save game will be corrupted.. play since 5 pm on friday till 11 am on sunday and now it corrupted.. haha
btw.. thank you so much
just want to ask, here is my default setting.. does it will affect the lag in my game? planning to enable object hiding, change screen size to maximize my laptop screen and turn on the edge smoothing..

Re: Lagging in game. [SOLVED]
In your case, it won't affect much. Lagging is possibly caused by the caches.
