Help with Sims 3 World Adventures Empty Help with Sims 3 World Adventures

I own the base game of sims 3. I try to install the world adventures games, it gives me this error. "the setup has detected that the regional install code for the sims 3 is different then what the expansion requires. This product requires the sims 3 to have the same regional code in order to be installed."   I looked at the install guide  but I couldn't finish step 2.

2. Now open the Start menu. Type 'regedit' in the search box and press [ENTER]. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sims\The Sims 3   and double-click on 'SKU'. Change the shown
number to 2 and press 'OK'. Close the Register Editor.


when I navigated sims was not there.

I found sims3 this way but I didn't know what to do after that.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\ElectronicArts\Sims3\Launcher\Settings

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,
You need to go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Sims, then follow the same instructions!

Hmmm i dont see SKU.  Do i just change the data value to 2 then on this? Help with Sims 3 World Adventures Captur11

The exact location is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims.

And then go on with the sub-folders. Good luck !
