Cant play Sims 3 after update 1.63. [SOLVED]

After I update the game to version 1.63 nd applied the latest Ultimate Fix, I launched the game then got this message.... I tried launching w/out any mods, nd I get the same message. Wat should I do to fix this??
PS- I tried w/ the DEP thing, nd still didnt work.....

Hello,

Assuming that you use the latest "Ultimate fix", you have to make sure too that ALL your mods are compatible with the base game version 1.63.

Do that and let us know the result.

Ill try w/ all mods updated, but as I said before I dont think the problem are the mods, cuz I tried running the game w/out any mods nd still got the same message.

It's not recommended to use the launcher patch. I suggest downloading and applying manual patch (just run the patch) here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v163-fix-manual-patch-updated.

Afterwards, apply the Ultimate Fix.

I used both manual patch nd ultimate fix, then when I tried to play it got tht message.....

I think you should rename the folder C:\Users\(your computer username)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and try again.If this doesn't help, sorry but you might have to consider clean reinstallation.

Rename it to whatever you want, for example "sims3backup".

The Sims 3 folder in My Documents\Electronic Arts. Basically where you placed the mods.

Ok it worked changing the folder name. Now wat should I do w/ my mods, store content nd saved game, should I just copy to the new Sims 3 folder??

No. That means one of your Mod/CC is out of date and conflicting with the game.
Best thing is installing them over one by one while checking their compatibility.

It seems to be all working now, the problem was most likely one of the mods. Thx 4 the help. Very Happy
