Can't update or Play Sims 3 after Ultimate Fix! Help Please!

Ive had all sims 3 ep's & sp's installed up to diesel Stuff and needed to update to 1.38 to install Supernatural and it wouldnt work, a window popped up saying invalid file found. so i found games4theworld Ultimate fix downloaded it Watched the video, read the directions then went to install the update using the manual patch STILL got the invalid file, said oh well for now and went to play my game (after installing the crack) and all of a sudden my game doesnt work... Can anyone help me??

its from from the store but ive written over the original .dll and TS3 files with each ep

Ok well that's no problem. Have a look at your launcher to see what your base game version is please.
