ITF- Jetpack issue

I am having an issue with the "fly around" command. It always resets my sim to the front door. It happens in present and future. The other jetpack options work just fine.

I have no MODs, other than store fixes.

Maybe it's a general bug?
Those that EA fixs when an update comes out I guess.
I had the same problem with Island Paradise when a sim find a shark, but with an update it was fixed.

I never had this problem myself with "Fly Around". However, in addition to Carlos and Shamrock's method, you must also take note of the location where you use the Jetpack. If you want your sims to fly around with the jetpack, your sims must be outdoors in order to do so. Otherwise, like Carlos said, this is most likely an in-game bug and you might want to wait for a patch to solve the problem.

@Shamrock: I've deleted the cache files.

@Carlos: Haven't tried that, I will give it a go.

@Cat: I thought about the room too, so I tried it in the wasteland and my sim still reset.

I also cleared out the inventory of any seeds and such.
