Sims 4 Start-Up Issues : [d3382ced:984c6a38:00000000:00000000]

Hello, let me first state that I'm technologically challenged and found it difficult for me to even figure how to post this thread. I downloaded the Sims 4 from Games4theworld. The first time I launched it, it worked. Now when I click on the Sims 4 icon to launch the game it gives me this error (I would screenshot it, but I don't know how to do that): "The contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of the The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded. Please update your game via Origin to play. [d6f91ffb]." I do have an Origin account, but it's not installed on my computer and hasn't been for some time now. I thought that I would need to download the Ultimate Fix from this site to fix this problem and did so. Now when I launch the game the screens goes black like the game is about to load, then this error pops up: " Origin is currently not running. Please make sure Origin is running before attempting to play The Sims 4. [d3382ced: 984c6a38: 00000000: 00000000]." Please help.

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.

Your first error ist most likley caused by some mods you put into your C:\Users\Dokuments\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\mods-Folder, which where created for a Sims 4 version the crack isnt on yet.
You should try removing these first.


If you dont have Administrator permissions you ned to ask the Owner of the PC for them because he/she doesnt want you to move something into the C:\Programms(x86) Folder.


But with removing the mods you should not need to apply the Ultimate Fix.

Hi agian,
then you need to aplly the Fix.

to see if you got administrator permissions go to your start menu and search for "user account":


If you now click on the top result (mine is in German) you should land here, where you can see who has "Admin-powers":

If you have more than one User Account you should be logged in with one that has "Administrator" beneath its Name.
Now when you try and move the Ultimate-Fix Files to the Folder a message like this should pop up and you just need to confirm.

I am getting the same error code when I try to run the sims 4 on my Windows 10 update. It was working fine wen I was using windows 8, but a week or so before my upgrade, I started having issues with it. I decided to wait until after my update to Windows 10, before deleting Sims 4, and re-downloading it, but it gave me the topic's error code. PLEASE HELP??? 

Any suggestions will be great.
