Computer Audio not working after installing Empty Computer Audio not working after installing

I finally got the Sims 3 and Sims 3 pets downloaded and installed properly. Now my Audio for my computer is not working AT all. It worked fine after I installed the Sims 3 Base Game. Now its not only not working in game but outside of the game as well. I did nothing other than installing the Pets 3 so it had to have been involved with the problem. Help please!

I'm not exactly sure if the actual game may be your problem!
