Request for help with foreign programs. [SOLVED]
Hello Games4theworld, I don't know if you can help me with this problem. But I'll throw it out there and cross my fingers.
I have a couple of Japanese programs installed on my computer, Eien no Aselia and Tears to Tiara (both of which are installed from a iso). I got the english translation patches from Dakkodango.com and played the games till I got bored with them. I want to free up the space on my harddrive and uninstall them. But I can't.
I get some error message which I can't read (because it's in Japanese) when I mount the iso to uninstall. I use vista and when I try to use the unintall programs option on the control panel, I get another error. (I can't get help at Dakkodango because no one has been online at their forum for like months apparently it's a ghost town)
Can anyone give me a idiots method for getting these programs off my computer? (I am itching to delete there install folders but I know that leaves a buggy mess in it's wake, and I don't want to reformat my hard drive for obvious reasons.)
Thank you in advance for you input and help, and with my fondest regards.

Hello,
I know there are programs that can help you clean up after an uninstall. But I can't help you with that, please check back later, when Admin or another mod comes online, I'm sure they have some suggestions for you.

Hello,
I personally love Revo Uninstaller. It clears all - even the most sticky programs - from your system. You can even do a force uninstallation. It'll always delete all leftover files. The program is ideal. Try it!

Thanks Admin, that was some fukn awesome advice! I admit I didn't think of looking for a 3rd party uninstaller. It worked beautifully too. I was able to clean my jap programs off of my computer without being able to read the problem. Heh
