Fix Link. [SOLVED]

For some reason when i click the link for the Ultimate Fix it pulls up the one from October can someone send me a link for the new one. im getting the Disk Error so i know i have the wrong link

I actually tested that a few weeks ago, and just now I re-tested this link here: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/Downloads/Fixes/The_Sims_3_fix.rar

..and everything is working flawlessly for me.

In 99.9% percent of all cases this means that the fix wasn't applied correctly. I suggest you ignore the instructions that are included in the fix. Instead do the steps 2, 3 and then 4 from here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Let us know if this works (and if these steps are done correctly, the game almost always works then).

Thats what I did. when i open the fix to drag over the TS3 & TSL they both say modified 10-18. (did it again to make sure) isnt there a link for the fix on megashare(i forgot the name)?

I tried both links a few weeks ago, and they all worked for me. You can try the "Alternative mirror link", but that won't change much:

For now, make sure to completely shut down your anti-virus software, then try again to drag and drop the files. Other than that, try this tool here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t12660-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-automatic-tool

Like I said, in most cases, the cause is that the fix wasn't applied correctly. So in case of doubt, re-read the link I posted in my previous reply, this "must read: how to install the Sims 3 correctly". Also, make sure to actually overwrite the original files (choose "copy and replace" for both files, when you are prompted to drop the files in the base game location).
