Sims 3 can't launch. [SOLVED]
Hello there,
I'm aware that this problem has been posted before and solved, but it didn't work with me.
I've followed the instructions here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly accurately, and for over 10 times.
I installed the Sims 3 base game, Generations, Late Night, and Seasons (games4theworld versions), then I applied the manual patch, and finally the Ultimate Fix (copying & pasting the files from # crack folder onto the destination mentioned on the Guide).
But the game still won't open, I keep getting "Service Initialization failed (0x0175dcbb)" error and when I open the launcher I get "There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details."
I cleared the registry from the computer after I uninstalled the games, and then re-installed and re-downloaded the patch & the ultimate fix and yet the errors keep popping up.
Any idea what I should do now or what am I doing wrong?

Hello,
First, try the solution shown in this video here:
Keep in mind that the registry location shown there is for 64-bit systems. If you have a 32-bit system, then the registry entries are in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Sims.
Good luck and let me know if that worked for you !

OH! IT WOOOOOORKED! haha I didn't pay attention to the 64-bit thing, oops. :3
BUT now another error showed after I started the game asking for Late Night Disk.
Is it because I didn't completely follow the installation guide and ignored downloading the Ambitions expansion pack and the other tools?
Haha never mind that, I fixed it. Thanks! It works now! ^_^
