How getting the new updates?+My Sims can't go on holidays! [SOLVED]

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you so much, dear Admin! I finally managed to install "Generation", "Late Night" and then "WA!"

However, I have some issues...
I uninstalled the download manager and Origin (It was previously installed but I read somewhere that it provokes a lot of issues!) so, I can't get the new updates... Do I have to re-install it or is there another way to get those updates? My last issue is that my sims can't go on holidays... the game perfectly runs, there are new objects and I can modify the destinations, but my sims can't travel (they can't book via the telephone and computer).

Can you help me? Thanks a lot for all your good job!

(I may have made some mistakes because my native language is French!)

First of all, you're more than welcome - always!

The EADM (Also known as Origin now) is needed in order to update the game. Please install Origin and then apply this Fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems
Read all the instructions VERY CAREFULLY on where exactly to put which files. When done correctly, you'll have the latest version of the game.

See if it fixes the problem.
