The Sims 3 Ultimate Fix Not Working With Generations

Hello! Uh, I signed up mainly just to ask this because I'm having some pretty heavy-duty problems.

So I've installed The Sims 3 and all of its expansions. I've followed the instructions exactly (I'm not exactly one to skip details and I'm actually pretty computer literate (surprisingly)), absolutely to a T, and I installed the crack (yes, only the Generations crack and in the right location in the base game's directory). Thus, this is a 100% fresh installation done correctly.

However, I'm still having problems with the recent update. It's the 1.24 patch specifically, and... well, I still get a disk authentication error, which is obviously not good. What exactly am I supposed to do here? Mounting the actual disk image fails to work, and I'm not able to locate any other 1.24 patches (which is understandable as the 1.24 update is extremely recent). I wonder if there is something wrong with the actual fix, out of curiosity?

Now, could you please send a screenshot of the folder where you copied the crack to?
