Sims 3 problem... [SOLVED]

I installed everything and i was trying to move my old music into the custom music on the sims 3 and its not putting the songs at all on there... not sure what is wrong... please help i'm tired of the same old music!!

What do you mean "it's not putting the songs at all on there"? Do you get an error when copying?

when you load the game and go to the options and go to msuic and look under custom music. The music is not showing up there but the music is in the folder....

The music you put in the Custom Music folder shouldn't be available there, but you should be able to hear it when you turn on the in-game radio. (Buy a radio system)

I understand that and that is the problem none of my music is playing in game... plus it doesnt show it in the options... I just checked to make sure its not playing in game...

Ok, first of all, to which folder did you copy the files? (Please make a screenshot)
And, in which format where the music files?

Ah, I see. You did copy it to the wrong folder, actually.
Custom music must be placed in: (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Custom Music
