Installing expansion packs, not updateable, then quits Empty Installing expansion packs, not updateable, then quits

I installed the base game and expansion packs up to showtime. Then I used the ultimate fix and my game worked fine. However, when trying to install the remaining expansion packs, downloaded from games4theworld, I kept getting this message that would say "The version of The Sims™ 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with The Sims™ 3 Katy Perry's Sweet Treats."

I am in serious need of help, please let me know if it sounds like there's a fix!

You can trying applying the manual patch before attempting to install the pack again.
