Something is different with this 1.67 Crack??!! Empty Something is different with this 1.67 Crack??!!

I updated my game to 1.67 and did the cracks as I have always done..now my launcher will not come up unless I right click on the small origin symbol on my taskbar and double click on The Sims 3..What is that about???

Hello,

Most likely this is not related to the 1.67 Ultimate fix.

If you have many .sims3pack files installed, then the launcher will take a while to open. As for me, I have all store items installed, but my launcher takes 5-6 minutes (!) to open up. I can live with that though, since I very rarely use the launcher (mostly I only use it to install new Sims 3 neighborhoods).

You should make a shortcut to the desktop from the TS3W.exe in your base game location. Usually that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Or C:\Program files(x86)\Origin games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin if your base game is from Origin.

There, right-click on the TS3W.exe and choose "send to -> Desktop (create shortcut)". That shortcut on the desktop will help you 'bypass' the launcher, and start the game 'directly'.

no..when i did that..still only the origin page comes up..and I know that sometimes it takes the launcher a long time to come up but it is not coming at all....only the origin page comes up no matter what I click on. This didn't start happening till i did the update...thats all i am saying...
