TS3 Seasons EP Potential Trouble: Sims Go To Festival Grounds, Causes Unique Crashing

I have a Windows 8.1 HP laptop. I don't know when exactly this problem started happening, but I believe it started when I installed Late Night....It also started happening when I installed patch 1.67.



//EDIT: Another thing- When I go into town mode, you know when it does that hover thing and it shows you the whole town? It does this thing where the fly-over stops and goes and it really bothers me

Did I already suggest to you, in your older topic, these solutions about crashing ? Also, did I suggest to you the thing about the "save files cleaner" ? Please have a look at your older posts, as I'm not sure now...

Maybe I'll try the thing with the Festival grounds myself, but crashings can have many reasons. In my game, the game suddenly started crashing whenever I used a shower or whirlpool; and after I used the save files cleaner, everything was smooth again. But you get the idea.

Also, try starting the game from the TS3W.exe in your base game location, usually C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Make a shortcut to the desktop from that TS3W.exe file. Then, right-click on the shortcut and choose "run as Administartor". Play on for a while - does that make any difference in gameplay ?
