Corrupt TS3W.exe. [SOLVED]

Hey, I downloaded The Sims 3 University Life Expansion pack from the website and when I tried to install it, WinRAR notifies me that the TS3W.exe file is corrupt. Please help as soon as possible

When I try to extract the RAR folder, it just says that the TS3W.exe is corrupt and it's not in the new extracted folder

The "TS3W.exe" you mentioned is just an outdated crack. There is no need to use it. You can proceed with the installation by double-clicking autorun.exe.

I tried to use the autorun.exe instead but when I try to launch the game, it says I need to insert a disc

Hello,

First of all, you need to patch your game to the latest version. To do so, download and run the manual patch, available here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v167-fix-manual-patch.

After patching, you are not done! You need the Ultimate Fix tool for the game. Download it here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems.

You will see a lot of folders and a file called # Installation_Guide.pdf. They are not necessary for fixing the issue except the folder called # Crack. Open this folder, and drag and drop the content of this folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. When you are prompted, replace the associated files.
