Everything I have tried didn't work! Empty Everything I have tried didn't work!

Hello,
I was playing the game just fine- everything was running smoothly. I did exit out of the game [using the windows button on my keyboard] to search for some nice CC for my Sims. I then returned to the game and exited without saving. I proceeded to add the CC to the designated folders and when I tried starting up the game and installing the sims3pack contents via the launcher it said "Sims 3 has crashed" or something along those lines. Then I decided I could do without a new hairstyle for now and clicked play. Turned out the problem wasn't just with the launcher but now my whole game crashed upon starting up [it's just a black screen then it went to the crashed pop up] I read online about doing the whole DEP thing and decided to give it a go. It all went well [except the Sims3Launcher.exe said it needs DEP therefore I couldn't add it to the exceptions list] I restarted my computer and opened the game again. This time the launcher opened but said there was an "There was an error during startup. See the Log for more details" [the Log is empty upon checking it]. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING, I looked in my registry and there's no surplus folders/folders I uninstalled. I have deleted all the caches, removed my CC, Renamed user files, CCleaner, reinstalled origin, I've tried the bypass launcher thing but it takes me to Origin and then thru Origin I have to open the Sims thus opening up the launcher. I'm running on a Windows 7 32 bit computer with 3GB of Ram
I haven't patched recently but I'm up to date, I'm not sure what i've done wrong it couldnt be a problem with the CC because I have removed it and I'm still having issues.
I have removed the files in DCCache that dont end in .ebc, World Cache/Thumbnails/ and the folder-less cache files.

Do I have to uninstall/reinstall?? Facepalm  Please help!!
I have all the expansion packs except Into the Future and Supernatural.
Thanks!

Hello,
Is your base game from Origin?
To bypass the launcher, you need to launch the TS3W.exe file. Is that what you did?
Are you sure you applied the Ultimate Fix correctly?

I used origin to install the base game but not thru digital download, I have used TS3W.exe to bypass the launcher but it opens Origin and then I have to open the game from there WhatDidUJustCallMe? I am pretty sure I have the fix installed correctly because my game didn't work at all until I installed the fix last month... I have the # crack files where they are supposed to be

Hello,

Have you previously uninstalled any expansions on the same pc? If so, can you have a look at this?

This video is for 64-bit pcs. Since you have a 32-bit pc, navigate to this registry folder instead: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Sims.

If this video cannot solve your problem, you need a clean re-installation. To do so, have a look at this article: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_Uninstall. It is recommended to download and install the registry program as per instructions of the above article, if you are not sure what to do with the registry editor.

I have tried the whole regedit thing already and found no surplus files/ files of expansion packs I didn't have installed; just the one I do have installed.
Before I try to re-install TS3 do you think I should see if my video/graphics card is up to date?? I read somewhere that if it needs to be updated it will cause problem with TS3??

Hello,

Yes you can try but I am afraid this is not the main cause of the problem. The main cause of the problem is corrupted registry, which needs to be fixed by clean re-installation.

Well I did have to update my graphics card, so I at least got that done lol anyway I will do a clean re-installation -- I will keep you updated as to whether or not it solves my issue. Thanks!

!!EDIT:
Clean Re-installation finished, everything back to normal!! Problem solved even though it took two hours or so to do it all, not too bad! Thanks!
