Can't install EP on my mac

I bought my other EPs from Origin and can download EPs and stuff pack from this website. But I can't install them even though I followed the must-read instruction and the installation guide PDF file for mac. Please help

when I clicked on the installer icon, nothing poped up

Did you use Stuffit Expander when converting the fikes to .dmg?

I just used my disk utilities. Is there a guide I can refer to?

You mentioned earlier that you have read the PDF. CLICK HERE.

Please read the section on creating .dmgs very carefully and be very sure that you use Stuffit Expander to unpack your files.

I can install the first 2 expansion packs just fine, but after I installed town life, I keep getting "Unhandled page fault on write access to 0x00000000 at address 0x10001f77. Do you wish to debug it?" and it doesn't let me log in to the game. HELP....

After installing Town Life did you reapply the Ultimate Fix?

I did and it still doesn't let me play. The worse part is that after I uninstalled everything and reinstalled, I can't even launch the base game

Sure you can. Just follow the similar instructions in the mac guide and make sure you always apply the Ultimate Fix as the last step.

*Just a note, make sure you do not use any of the cracks found in the Expansion Packs downloaded from here.

So I tried your link to uninstall and reinstall the base game. After the game is updated, it says "Unknown error occur" I don't know what to do anymore

After you update the game, you need to install your expansion packs first. Lastly, apply the Ultimate Fix.

Also, be very sure that you do not use any of the cracks found in the expansion packs.

So I was able to start the launcher and install EP & SP. Then I applied ultimate fix. Now my game version is 21.0.150.024001 and the EP & SP icons doesn't appear on the launcher. Plus, no game disc found keeps poping up and preventing me from playing.

It seems that your update was not done properly.  You must use the launcher to update where it says Update to 1.63. 

What you can do now is download and apply the manual patch.

After that, apply the Ultimate Fix again.

I used manual patch for update and now it asked me to insert disk for into the future. What should I do from here?

Did you reapply the manual patch such that you see your game version as 1.63?

If not, I suggest that you redownload the manual patch and apply it again. If done correctly your game version must say 1.63.

And your last step must always be the Ultimate Fix.

Sorry I failed to mention that my game version is finally 1.63. I applied ultimate fix and it still asked for disc game. Any idea?

I see. Can you redownload the Ultimate Fix?  You might be having an older version.

Please redownload it and apply it again. Hopefully it works

Just to make sure that you have applied the files in the correct place, can you please show me a screenshot of the following:



Make sure to click on one of the crack files at the end so that i can see the date modified as well.

Good news. I uninstalled and installed again to be safe. This time I applied ultimate fix everytime I updated and installed an EP. It works. 

Another question I have is that I have all EPs except Into the future. Now, should I install SP in the order of release? Should I reapply ultimate fix all over again?

Congratulations! I'm happy that you managed to get it to work. To be on the safe side it is probably good to install in order of release. No harm!

And yes, the Ultimate Fix should always be applied in the final step.
