Some downloads don't show up in game

Hello ! First of all, I would like to thank you for everything you do Hammertime

Secondly, I'm French, and I'll try to be very brief in order to speak correctly.

So, I know how the game works, how download work, BUT : I really wanted 'Grandpa's Grove', and I was having the "software updates" issue, so I went on this forum to find my answer ; I did, and I use the "decrapify" advice I found here. It worked ! And I was able to install my Sims3packages !
But it doesn't show up at all in the game. I tried to install at the same time the "wood oven", grandpa's grove and the pack with the cows & everything. The last one works perfectly, I can use the cows & the milk in game, but the others don't. I used to have the wood oven in the past, I don't even know why it doesn't appear in game anymore WhatDidUJustCallMe?

I don't really know what to do. I tried to install the grandpa's grove AGAIN and I have the "installation succeed" message, not even the "already installed" one. I don't understand Sad

Ps - I have already installed the Ultimate Fix!

Hello,

How many items were you trying to install in the launcher ? If you try installing "too many items" (i.e. items which, taken together, have more than 400 MB) in one turn, then they won't show up/won't install because the launcher can't handle so much.

Next, go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

The compositorCache.package is the most important one here, but to be safe, delete all others that are mentioned too.

And then, try re-installing Grandpa's grove (with the launcher). Re-start the game and see if it shows up. Good luck ! Smile
