Launcher problem after apply any update. [SOLVED] Empty Launcher problem after apply any update. [SOLVED]

im using win7 ultimate 64bit and everytime i try to install the sims 3 and addons it says me the game needs a update but after installing any update the launcher isn't working anymore. it just says i have to check a log file but i cant find any. i dont have any crack installed so im out of idea why this game would work without updates but any update destroys the game?

Hello,


First of all, please have another look at this guide and re-do the steps from #2 to #4:

Also, make sure to read step #1 too, because in order for the Ultimate fix (step #4) to work, you need to have at least one of the expansions mentioned there, too.




Next, have a look at this video here: 








The solution in this video is for 64-bit Windows systems. If your Windows is a 32-bit system, then the registry location is a bit different than in the video: 


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Sims
