Insert Disk 1. Empty Insert Disk 1.

Help 

I have looked through the posts on here and can't find anything to help me with my problem.
I have downloaded The Sims 3 Diesel Stuff. I have got halfway through the installation and a box has popped up saying:

'Please insert disk 1 that contains the file Thumbnails/Allthumbnails.package.'

I have looked everywhere on my computer and conducted a detailed search and i cannot find this file anywhere!

Can anyone help!

Hello,

Try creating an empty folder somewhere. Then open the Diesel stuff download with WinRAR, and mark ALL contents. Extract the marked contents (with WinRAR) into the empty folder you just created. Again, it's vital that you extract ALL contents of the .RAR into that empty folder. Now, go to that folder then and re-start the installation with the autorun.exe. Good luck !

Remember doing this for all .RAR files, for the future. Also, I suggest you back up the actual .RAR file, to a safe place (USB flashdrive, external hard-drive, etc.), so that you don't have to re-download it, in case anything goes wrong. After you backed up the .RAR, and after you installed the game/software, feel free to delete the folder you extracted the contents or the .RAR to. It's not necessary anymore - and if you really have to re-install, just take the .RAR you backed up, and start over.

I have another insert disk problem.. These things just dont work for me!

I have installed all the expansions packs I downloaded and they all installed fine.
My problem is that when I open the game launcher and click the play button it says:

'No game disk found! Please insert The Sims 3 Movie Stuff game disk to proceed.'

Movie Stuff was the last expansion pack I installed, but I have no disk as it was downloaded.

Since you pirated the games, you need to apply a "crack", which will allow you to play the game without having to insert a physical disk.

Still not having any luck... the game worked fine after I installed the fix but now when I go to load the game it either asks me to insert the disk again or the sims opens but there is no game to load up

Usually, this means that you didn't apply the fix correctly, but let's see.

First of all, if you have a "NoCD-mod", please remove it. Also, turn off your anti-virus software completely (and/or add the whole "Program files" folder to the "exceptions" of your anti-virus software).


And then, please re-do the steps from #2 to #4 that I mentioned in the last post. If you do it correctly, everything should work out fine.
