Computer REFUSES to download patch!

I downloaded the fix. Now I'm trying to download the patch. I tried the first link and now I'm trying the MEGA. First download went all the way and said failed at the last second. Now MEGA is stuck at 99% six seconds left. What do I do 
?

Hello,
Either try the other link here:
http://akamai.cdn.ea.com/eadownloads/u/f/sims/sims3/patches/TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update.exe
Or try with a different internet browser. You may even re-try at a later point; maybe there is some temporary "server overloading" taking place.

Topics merged. Please stick in your original topic, especially if your issues are so closely related.
As for this error, try right-clicking on the patch and choose "run as Administrator" - if you have Windows Vista or a later Windows OS. If that didn't help either, then you'll have to re-download once again, maybe even with a different browser. Also, don't pause or interrupt the download, as this can corrupt the patch.
