Sims City Activation Key

Sims City Deluxe Edition has given me problems when it comes to the activation code. During the set up it wants me to put in a key code.... But i don't have one. Is there any thing i am missing. can i have some help please i really want to play.

Have you looked into the "Installation guide.txt", included in the download ?
