Just some small help...that's all I'm asking for.

Well let's get down to business on this I suppose...again, just asking for some small help, and that's it. If any admins or moderators warn me for posting something stupid, I'll understand it.
Anyway, this is probably the MOST common problem among sim fans...but here's to hoping it's solved.
I have The SIms 3 University Life and Sims 3 Supernatural. Both of these expansion packs alone are making me angry right now. Why you ask? Because The Sims 3 University Life and Supernatural are having issues playing right. I installed them properly, and clicked on the big play button as usual. But when I click play, nothing loads. Even if I sit and wait a good 10 mins or so nothing. It's like the file is there, but the game isn't (I hope I'm making sense of this)...I click play, nothing loads, if you're still confused. I was sure a guide said that the crack was not needed to play (except in my case just the base game). So I didn't bother with the cracks. My game Sims 3 Island Paradise runs just fine, but University Life and Supernatural does not. If I get other expansion packs, I want to know what the problem is with these two games just incase it happens again with the other expansion packs I want and I'll know what to do in a similar situation.
I'm open to suggestions from you, the users of this website.

I'm not sure actually if I understood your issue, but let's see.   First of all, if you "add" expansions to your base game, the opening screen will ONLY show the expansion that was released most recently, in your case that would be "Island Paradise". Even if you have all other expansions installed, the screen will show the Island paradise opening screen.

But this is nothing to worry about, since the content of the other expansions is still there.
