Silly question?? but still !!!!? [SOLVED]

I have donwloaded and installed the expasion packs (got the original game base)
The Sims 3 - Late Night
The Sims 3 - Outdoor Living Stuff
The Sims 3 - Ambitions
The Sims 3 - Town Life Stuff
it seems to work but how do i know if the expansion packs work in-game
and yes at the launcher left-bottom corner they all show installed.
how to confirm if they rlly works ingame?
untill know i only know that late night towns works cuzz it gives itself away on the loading screen but
how do i know that for example ambitions ,etc works

Nice question
Ok for ambitions, you will notice the new neighbourhood "Twinbrook" as well as several new community lots such as the salon, junkyard, fire station. Besides that, you will find new items in buy and build mode.
Outdoor Livingstuff and Town Lifestuff also show up in buy and build mode. You can filter the items by using the flower-like icon on the right next to your items to only show you content from a specific expansion or stuff pack or just custom content.
